Many companies offer employees - and even retirees and/or spouses - a matching gift benefit that, in effect, doubles (or in some cases even triples) your gift to Wartburg. These gifts provide additional support and resources for our students.

When making a gift to Wartburg, please consider earmarking Wartburg for a corporate match. Companies have various methods by which you can submit your matching gift request: online forms, automated phone systems, or a paper form that you submit to Wartburg.

If you are affiliated with a company or foundation that matches gifts, please initiate a matching gift claim by following your organization's procedures. If a form is required, please send a completed and signed form along with your gift. If you've already made your gift, you can still apply for matching gift funds. Thrivent Financial no longer offers matching gift funds. They have transitioned to a new program called Thrivent Choice, which allows eligible members to direct donations from Thrivent to registered Lutheran organizations such as Wartburg College. To learn more about this program, click here.
